Gear is a character from the cartoon show "Static Shock". He was a normal teenager until he was hit with the Big Bang mutagenic cloud, which gave him superhuman intelligence. He used his newfound super-intelligence to build several gadgets and become Static's sidekick, Gear. His arch-nemesis is Hotstreak .
