Bane is a character created by Eduardo Barreto, Chuck Dixon and Graham Nolan. He is a criminal mastermind who, thanks to the formula called Venom, has superhuman strength. He wants to destroy Gotham City so he can rebuild it in his image, but thankfully Batman always manages to stop him.
