Vicki Vale is a character created by Bill Finger, Charles Paris and Lew Sayre Schwartz. She's Batman's girlfriend, and a reporter for the Gotham Gazette. Much like Lois Lane, she's not afraid of exposing the crime and corruption in Gotham City, but she's also open to show the best that humanity has to offer.
