Freddy Krueger is the main villain from the "Nightmare on Elm Street" movies. He was a serial killer of children known as the "Springwood Slasher" who was burned alive by the parents of those children. As he was burning, the Dream Demons offered him their power in exchange for him spreading death and fear in the world. Freddy accepted, and was brought back as an undead Dream Demon, able to enter people's dreams, manipulate them, and kill them in their dreams, which he can magically use to kill them in the real world. He has been defeated by Nancy Thompson, Jesse Walsh, Alice Johnson and Maggie Burroughs, with Maggie finally banishing him to Hell. There, he found he was unable to return from Hell due to the teenagers of Springwood no longer fearing him. There, in Hell, he found Jason Voorhees, who had been sent there by Creighton Duke. Freddy used his demonic powers to let Jason escape from Hell and, posing as Jason's mother, Pamela, Freddy commanded Jason to kill the teenagers from Springwood. However, when Freddy was strong enough to return from Hell, Jason ended up killing the teenagers that Freddy wanted to kill himself. This led to a fight between Freddy and Jason, with Jason winning and sending Freddy back to Hell.
