Deadman is a character created by Arnold Drake, George Roussos and Carmine Infantino. He was a trapeze artist working at a circus who was shot and killed by a mobster. The goddess Rama Kushna brought his spirit back from the afterlife so he could fight crime and the forces of evil. He can fly, shoot beams of ectoplasmic energy, he can sense when danger is near, he can turn intangible, he has super-strength and invisibility.
